- 4/22 7:12 pm - Effective use of testimonials. These students spoke sincerely about their experience with Viking Broadcasting. In addition, they reference points that likely would hit home with perspective students. You may want to add some backlight in order to separate your subject from the background (I'm referring to the testimonials). Your piece includes a satisfactory amount of b-roll. Some of these shots last too long (ex. rock, paper, scissors shot). In the future when shooting your b-roll, shoot the same action from different perspectives. This will give you more editing options (you will not have to rely on one long cutaway shot; rather, you can work with a combination of shots of the same activity). You have a number of shots showing the students in action. These shots are meaningful, but they would be even more informative if we heard some of what the students were saying.

Positives: Great to hear students talk about their experiences in the broadcasting program Great display of large variety of work that could be done in broadcasting from in front of camera and behind camera work
Improvements: Awkward start - wasn't sure that it had started at the beginning - no lead in - took until second interview to understand what was happening "Does this sound like you" graphic was not exciting and stayed up on the screen too long... coming out of this was two hosts at a desk playing rock, paper scissors - would have liked something more exciting and with higher energy

Positives: I like the lighting on the subjects and the quick edit when he makes the sound. Good job of showing all various aspects of the program. These types of shots help to make it visually appealing to the viewer and to help get them motivated to join the program.
Improvements: The graphics could be stronger and more eye-catching for the viewer. It is important to pay attention to the music volume because it goes up and down dramatically at times. When you mention something make sure to show it with video. It is important to watch the mic placement on the subject so that the wire is not visible to the viewer.

Positives: well thought out narrative. Liked how you used testimonials and personal experience on why to be part of Viking broadcasting Great graphics! and good to call to action! Clear message on what you want to
Improvements: Some of the shots were a little dark (although that may be your aesthetic because it does look stylized) Nice use of shots to demonstrate your story. A few of the shots lingered a little long where you may have been able to add in more visuals!
