a psychological thriller trailer showing a girl slowly lose her mind
Positives: Though a premise/plot for a long-form version of "Unhinged" is kept vague in this piece (which seems more like a visual experimental piece or a scene from a long-form story), the rich juxtaposition of red versus white aesthetic and lighting was very striking and impactful. Even the production design – white cups, white sugar cube – added to that clean look, set starkly against the red grime of the shower/knife sequences. The "Unhinged" font treatment against the red-lit shower tile was very creative, and feels like "classic" horror. Ambient, panicked music matched very nicely as well. Having no dialogue/narration make this piece stand out – excellent job!
Improvements: A few shots/compositions were a bit loose and unpolished – and cutting in some additional imagery could help clue in the audience as to the reason for the protagonist's decent into insanity.
Positives: Scary!
Improvements: Need to give a little bit of the story Any other characters?
Positives: The lighting choices and quick cut aways made this very interesting. She also seems so normal but then so strange all at the same time. Plot line was confusing but interesting for that reason.
Improvements: I would suggest some interaction with another character. It's interesting for the first seconds but then I wonder what more is there? What made her this way? You have the wow factor down, now just dive into the substance.
