- 3/28 3:52 pm - Wide/up cam is the safety cam; must see the ball at all times in case the other cams lose it. We know that live sports telecasts demand camera operators anticipate movement, but the jump ahead to an empty field at :09 is a bit much. Couldn't place your up-cams higher to avoid that tent? By :16 we can barely notice the runner, the shot is so wide, and the tight cam (up or field) wasn't used. Wow, by :23 we still can't really see the most important elements of the action. By :44, I'm guessing there are no other cameras. 1:20 - 1:30 - dead air - with three on-air talent working this game??
- 3/11 10:22 am - Announcers describe things well for a three-person booth (hard to pull that off and figure out when everyone has a window to speak). Feels like the call from the PXP could have a better tempo to it, color analyst comments are good-- we do hear that PA announcer in the background quite a bit. Camera shot cuts off kick off (ball) as it flies out of the frame. Main audio sounds over modulated and announcers talk over each other at points. Again, that three person booth can be difficult. Really need to nail down who will describe what, etc.
