  • 4/23 11:20 am - Great sports program right from the start! The set is flawless and very professional looking. The audio that plays underneath the program works really well when transitioning to new segments. The anchors seem genuinely enthusiastic about the different HF sports teams and do an excellent job pacing their audio during video playback. The video packages are great and the audio is clear throughout. Watch out for the lights reflecting from the wide shot. This could be fixed by tightening up the shot a bit and removing some of the empty space on either side of the anchors.
  • 3/10 9:47 am - A solid show.  Really liked the knowledge of the announcers- they seemed to know a lot of facts and even more about the team.  Very passionate- that's hard to find.  Audio levels were good.  Interviews looked good and had good audio. Use of music each time a new "subject" came up was a nice touch.  Intro looked professional.  Perhaps include some kind of closing to put an end to the show. Use overlays to fill some space in the solo shots. Overall, it was a good show and something cool for all the sports at your school.  
  • 2/26 10:28 am - Nice intro and use of music. Good discussion, nice use of b-roll. Professional looking set, audio, lighting etc. For your two person shot I would have it a little closer, too much edge space. Overall incredible job!
Judge 1

Positives: Very in-depth recap of the season. Good use of highlights and b-roll to mix in with the on-set analysis. Really liked that you had on-camera interviews to get to hear from some of the players on the team as well. Hosts were well prepared and clearly know this team inside and out. It showed.

Improvements: Honestly, I'm struggling to come up with any criticisms here. Really nicely produced piece.

Judge 2

Positives: - Talent does a great job talking about the players and showing emotion when color commentating. Very professional and good team at the desk! - Solid editing on the highlight reels!

Improvements: - I would tighten the shot of the two at the anchor desk. With too much space, it makes the anchors look really young and small. A tighter shot would help them fill the screen and have a bigger presence on air. - The one shots of the anchors were a little crooked. Good shots otherwise.

Judge 3

Positives: Both hosts were very solid. Very professional delivery and analysis. Great overall look, the set is stellar. Highlights and interviews were really shot well.

Improvements: I know football is king, but variety would have been nice, featuring some of the other sports. A little more creativity would work here. Maybe a segement with a player answering non-sports questions, Top 5 plays, etc.
