3/1 8:34 am - :13 - need transition to get them from stage to i'view location. Wasted valuable time with subjects' audio introducing themselves and the piece; this was already done with text graphics; redundant. Natsot beginning at :18 is weak. Good follow when they crossover. Again, we need transitions between locations. Need performance natsot under their sound bites to maintain mood & flow. Why did you go to black at :52? You should only go to black once - at the end. I thought the piece was done at :52. Performance b-roll could use one wide shot from behind them toward seating so we can appreciate the bright stage lights. 1:19 - much needed angle change. I'views solid visually & good audio.
2/24 12:54 pm - The interview shot was pretty stagnant; might have been nicer to have several shots (2-shot, single close ups of each girl while they were speaking, medium shot of each girl) to break it up. The audio was mixed pretty well. The b-roll was limited to their on-stage dress rehearsal and the footage from the rehearsal room. It would have been awesome to see some photos or videos from their other work in the theatre program; specifically when the one girl was talking about how much work they do in their program and the other shows they've been involved with.
