- 4/23 10:07 pm - Pros - This is the feel good trailer of the category! Very entertaining entry. The writing is very witty and keeps the viewer engaged throughout. The creativity to adapt a typical action thriller into Lamp-led characters was hysterical. The production design produced several laugh out loud moments. Cons - The sound design was very rough throughout; lots of overmodulation. The exposure was not as consistent as one would hope.
- 4/23 3:27 pm - Pros: By far my favorite entry in this category. Really clever writing and concept. You filmed it so seriously which is exactly why it comes off as so ridiculous. Great voice over work and titling to evoke other over-the-top action trailers that inspire it. Improvements: It's really fun. It's a DQ due to smoking and I'm not sure if the helicopter explosion is designed by the team. It's probably found footage so that's another reason for DQ. Work on your audio mixing. The music was competing too much with the voice over. Make sure you layer the dialogue to live over he sound effects and music. -12 to -3dB on the voice over...-18 to -15dB on the SFX and -24 to -30dB on the music. All in all, well done!
