This production focuses on the senior football players at my high school in which they share their views on their experiences playing football in high school as well as their views on their final high school season.

Positives: Nice job finding GREAT music. The music is what drives the emotion of this story. The back ground used is a nice way to keep the interview looks consistent - would have loved to have seen the head coach with this back ground as well.
Improvements: Try to find more ways to use more natural sound moments. Let the music you found help drive the edit in certain sports.
Positives: Amazing open shot and outside shots of team- looks like dolly - smooth. Love the use of sunset!! Good back and forth editing of players and team. Thank you for the backdrop behind the players. Sets up some compelling visual contrast.
Improvements: At times, the interviews sound a bit clipped or fade on a word. I waited for a climax to the story but, it did not happen. Is the climax graduation?
Positives: It's rare to see young athletes in such a reflective mode. This is refreshing approach to an old story with thoughtful bites from the players and their coach instead of action highlights. Good open with a drone shot of the empty field sets the tone of the piece. The interview background gives the piece a look. Choosing group shots on the field rather than individual action shots illustrate the players embrace of the team as a family. Good broll throughout. This is a lovely piece taking a soft look at a hard sport, focusing on the heart instead of the razzle dazzle.
Improvements: I like the dips to black but a couple are too long making sections of the documentary feel like ending points. Pacing could be a little faster in spots.
