- 3/27 11:41 am - Pro crews set-up the up-cams at dead-center of the court. Use other cams - especially floor cams - during dead balls. Yep, that's an awkward cut to a second up-cam set-up in the other half of the court; definitely not a pro configuration; in live sports coverage, almost all cuts should be to shots that are framed differently or at different angle than the first shot; cutting from wide-to-wide is awkward. Wow - cutting while the ball is in the air on an alley-oop; I've never seen that before - largely because viewers are used to cuts that take place before or after critical action. For some reason, the P.A. sounds like it's mic'ed - which isn't necessarily a bad thing - except the P.A. audio level is too high and competing/running over the announcers. The announcers sound like they're having fun. I guess the two floor cameras were broken?
- 3/10 12:47 pm - Announcers follow the action and describe the action well. Color analyst is difficult to hear. Audio seems to be over modulated on the dunk, maybe a little too much energy? PA audio seems to be really prominent and distracting. Almost sounds like the PA audio is part of the main mix.
