  • 3/27 12:20 pm - I've never seen a replay occuring during live action. Use floor cams during dead balls. 1:04 - we don't need bleachers and ceiling; tilt down. 1:10 - seems like the tilt tension on the tripod head is too tight - jerky tilts; was a fluid head tripod available? 1:32 - framing too tight; losing the ball or not panning quickly or both. Need floor cams for crowd/cheer squad reax after home baskets; only 3 floor cam shots in a 3 minute clip - not good for a live/action sports telecast. Please tell me the brand of energy drink preferred by the PBP announcer.
  • 3/11 10:13 am - Fantastic announcer energy along with good commentary and transition to replay. The replay would be even better with some special transition/wipe to it? Audio did sound slightly hot to me with headphones on and come camera movement seemed somewhat choppy at times. Make sure that wide game cam doesn't lose the ball and has some space for players to move into. Color analyst needs to jump into the gaps after the action is described by PXP a little better.
  • 3/5 3:58 pm - +Enjoyed PxP energy. +Good PxP talk - Would have liked more PxP /Color banter (just watch color levels). + Like use of different cameras.

Positives: Good knowledge on the history of the program right off the top. Also, the James Harden reference is strong. The announcers enjoy the game, too. That's refreshing.

Improvements: The replay of the three coming while the ball is in play is a little odd. It's disjointed for the viewer. The sound is teetering on overmodulated throughout the segment.

Judge 2

Positives: The play by play had good pace and energy called the action well and mixed in relevant information. Good use of the replay to complement the play by play action.

Improvements: The sound of the announcing was over modulated and the video was not sharp. Color analyst needs to bring better pace for the game action.

Positives: Talent was really engaging and energetic. Score-strip graphic is simple and clean and doesn't take up the entire lower-third of the screen. Cameras followed the action of the game nicely. The use of replay is always a nice element.

Improvements: At the beginning, the announcers were talking about HP's Ziv Tal who was in the building. That is a perfect filler for whenever you need to fill content during a delay in the game. The timing of it could have been used then and seeing that there is a roaming wireless camera, it would have been nice to see him as they were talking about him. The audio of the announcers were over-modulated, although they were great to listen to, an easy audio fix could help the modulation. With the replays, the replay animation looks great! It would be nice to have a back-end animation to wipe out of and back into the game. It was hard to distinguish when we were out of replay without it, especially since the replay machine is recording a program feed of the game so it has the score-strip in the bottom. Most replays are just the camera feed with no graphics on it. Going out of replay looks almost like a jump cut into the game. Replays also should be shown when there is also a very short delay in game and not while the ball is in play or else you miss some of the action.
