Entry Description
We spent a school day in April 2019 and time during the summer shooting various aspects of classrooms at Neuqua Valley, getting a glimpse of everything happens during school. This video was made to recognize the change in leadership at Neuqua, as Dr. Lance Fuhrer became the new principal.

Your promotion utilizes a more sophisticated structure than the majority of pieces in this category. 2. The camera movement during your opening shot is impressive! 3. You certainly expose the viewer to a wide variety things occurring within the classrooms and resource areas in your school. Areas on which to work: 1. You begin the body of your piece by showing students arriving at school while we hear the orchestra tuning their instruments. While this is a clever approach, the shots used during this section of your piece did little to promote your school's image. I did not get the sense the students depicted were excited to come to school. I think you are trying to show that once the school day begins and students are exposed to their teachers and coursework, they come alive. However, a substantial portion of your piece emphasizes a relatively indifferent student population. 2. I enjoyed seeing the students in your building engaged in a variety of settings. However, I wish we could hear bits and pieces of what was happening in these spaces. Could you have mixed in some nat sound with the orchestra? Would audio from some of the activities depicted in your promotion help amplify your message?
