  • 3/16 8:06 pm - I think you do a good job building suspense, between the camera shots, the subtle music, even the character - he senses no danger as if he has been here before and has nothing to fear. He played it just right, and to give you props you captured just what you needed to from him, that way at the first moment he sensed fear we saw it in his actions. It would have been no where near as dramatic if he was spooked all along. Great job evolving your character. Your music and editing choices really helped tell the story, the only thing I wasn’t sure about is when the main character couldn’t get out the door what made him run out of the light and back into the dark (the unknown) was there another door? It just seemed so illogical with all the fear he was feeling that he would do that and I couldn’t help but think the whole time why would you do that? I loved the creative twist at the end (especially with the foreshadowing of the mannequins earlier in the film (although I would have loved to seen some clothes on them so we would know he was not the first victim). Needless to say, I thought it was a nice ending, most students would have ended with the scream, so thanks for the added bonus and extra thought into your story.
  • 3/10 12:04 pm - Positives: Great use of audio design to enhance the chase scene; Areas for improvement: Opening Title needs a bit more contrast; The chase needs work: we never get a small glimpse of the creature/person that's pursuing the main character; at 1:14 he dead ends into a locked door, and then runs right back from where he had come... so is someone chasing him? We don't see him look over his shoulder or react to specific noises except for @1:01-- after that he's just running, but not in response to specific noises. Chase needs to be planned as cause/effect more specifically.
  • 3/9 7:44 pm - the shoe noise was a bit much
