• 4/22 11:13 am - Pros - very solid compositions. Focus is consistent and movement is smooth. You do a good job creating depth in your shots with artificial lighting and using that lighting in harmony with depth of field to drive the viewer's attention to specific parts of the frame. This is a very important skill to have in visual storytelling. Cons - some of the lighting situations are too harsh; not so much the football or piano players, but some of the closeups have very hard shadows on the face and leave the eyes in shadow. The eyes are usually the most important part of the face to see. Explore the use of an eye light. Did not care for the Silhouette at 0:48. I felt like we want to see the actress' face in that shot, so a soft fill of weak side key would have been nice. All around solid work!
