4/16 11:52 am - Good opening but I would suggest teasing more than one story. Feels cut. I don't get the sweater schtick on the male host and then it being on a different reporter later in the episode. Something with the zipper? Maybe inside joke for students of Wheaton? Female anchor does a nice turn to camera at start of show. The headset mics give it a ESPN Game Day feel. Nice delivery...keep eyes on camera at all times when delivering here. Consider bringing hands to desk to a position of strength. Arms hanging at sides doesn't do this.
Think about script writing. No need for reporters to say, "Hello Wheaton Academy. My name is....and today I'm going around and..." The purpose of the anchors is to introduce the story. When they cut to you, get to it. Tighten you composition on shots of interviews. Maybe ask them what water they prefer and why so you don't have these quick shots. Consider a longer cord for mic so you don't have it in the shot, handing directly from camera.
Art segment had a more polished look to it and the comeback to the anchors felt more personable. Nice job here! Sit up, off the backs of your chair. This looks a little too relaxed. Any chance of getting some video footage of sports? This would add to the sportscast.
Lastly, maybe add a little music for the outro.
3/8 7:49 pm - STORY: Creative, topical, and interesting. Don't get the sweater zipper joke. Sports stories would have better with footage.
CAMERA: Packages camera work was well done but could have had more creative shots. Most were MS. Too much lead room/speaking room in sound bytes.
SOUND: Audio on boy anchor distorted.
Lighting: No issues
Talent: Professional
2/24 1:11 pm - The start of the show the anchor on the right pulled his zipper up as it appeared like a gag. It was hard to take him seriously. The anchors turn away from the middle which is usually a tough camera change and makes it feel like you're ignoring your co-anchor. Consider turning to the inside.
Female anchor is very strong and I feel that she is very poised. The male anchor is also good, but probably shouldn't sit back in his chair so much.
H20 story didn't feel much like a story, while interesting.
Art story is good, but felt more just like an overview. The video for the story is pretty good and matches what you're seeing. Interview with the teacher?
Is there a reason both guys are wearing the same sweater?
