4/23 9:27 am - I love this idea as a TV show segment It's informative and well supported with video/photo. However, this is not a PSA. There isn't a call to action at the end that asks the audience to do something. Your photos and videos should also be cited either in your project or in the copyright info on your MMEA submission. I do like the speaker situated in the library- it seems to be an appropriate place to film and the speaker looks very professional! Next time, I would include this in your news program submission category, not PSA.
3/7 9:08 pm - This is more of a history news segment instead of a public service announcement. The talent reads well. Except for talent reading, it is mostly non-original b-roll, which needs to be attributed better.
MMEA rules state: "All entries must be the original work of the student producer including scripting, directing, videotaping, editing, and graphics. The only exceptions would be Documentary, News Program, Sports Program, News Package and Natural Audio News Package categories. These categories allow copywritten images or video for historical purposes, and may include content not produced by the student, as long as it is attributed to the original owner."
