A brief, yet informative walkthrough of how Chicago's famous Lou Malnati's Deep Dish Pizza is prepared. Behind-the-scenes access immerses viewers in the process, dating back to the early 1970s. Positives: Very interesting video. I'm impressed that you were able to get into Lou Malnati's and create this video. Good pre-production. It's apparent that you planned your shoot. The camera work was effective as well. You successfully illustrate their pizza making process.
Improvements: Think about adding a little more information on the history of Lou Malnati's. I would be interesting to learn a little about the way the developed their pizza recipe. Instead of just having one shot of the pizza being boxed start with the existing shot. Then cut to another shot as the lid closes.Compose that shot to fill the frame with the closed box. Make sure the the name Lou Malnati's is the predominate image.
Positives: There was a clear step by step process in a restaurant kitchen with explanation along the way made for a very engaging piece. The overall lighting and narration was very clear. There was a clear and concise opening and ending to the piece. The graphics benefited the piece very well.
Improvements: A few of the extreme close ups of the pizza were somewhat blurry in addition to the black and white image. Background sounds of the kitchen or cooking process could have supported the piece.
