- 3/1 3:04 pm - Don't open a piece with talking head video from a sound bite; b-roll over the bite. Talking heads aren't nowhere near as visually interesting as basketball b-roll in a story about basketball. Pausing at :34, all we have visually so far is three talking heads. This is not captivating visual storytelling. I just scanned ahead and saw absolutely no b-roll at all.
- 2/25 6:54 am - You have audio hiss throughout the interviews. You have no b-roll, which means you have no natural sound. This category is called Natural Audio News Package, which means you need to have b-roll WITH natural sound. This could be game footage, this could be practice footage, this could be shots of the coach talking to students in between their interviews, this could be shots of the team just hanging out. But you have to include SOMETHING other than just talking heads.
