- 4/23 7:05 am - Your piece contains creatively composed shots (ex. helmet in foreground, field in background). I like how some shots are framed through he fence. In addition to game highlights, you also include shots of excited spectators. As a result, you are able to emphasize the "fan experience." Great shot of the pitcher reacting - timed well with the music. When shooting future sporting events, try to vary your camera positions more than you did for this piece (most shots came from along the first base line). You also may want to include footage from more than one game to add variety. Also, work on providing your viewer with sense of what a particular event sounds like. In this particular piece, you could have let your viewer hear the crowd cheering, the ball hitting the bat, the PA announcer, etc. In other words, work in some nat sound. Some shots were a little dark - could these have been lightened?
