  • 3/6 7:27 am - Given the slower pace of the songs, the pacing of the cuts is appropriate. Could make them more interesting with more slow pans and zooms, etc. Lovely graphic halfway through. While I understand that you wanted to get the piano player around 2:13, the disembodied hands in the middle of the screen are a bit ghostly. Fine job. It’s just really hard to make the video dynamic given the lighting and slow pace of the song.
  • 3/3 11:46 am - I like the use of slow dissolves in this production. Good job editing to the pace of the music.
  • 3/3 11:46 am - Tough clip to enter because of the low lighting, but that is out of your control.

Positives: Audio mix was very well done. Most camera shots were good.

Improvements: Although this piece for lit for effect, the low level of light caused image problems and clarity with camera shots. There needed to be more close up work.

Judge 2

Positives: Some very nice transitions. The slow fades from camera to camera works well for this kind of song. You added a pickup shot of the piano player that seemed appropriate and had a very nice look to it.

Improvements: The camera operators have to know the gear well before they shoot a show. Slow pans were jumpy and not smooth. One wide shot of the choir was out of focus.

Judge 3

Positives: Great audio mix. Liked the pans, but keep them smooth. Liked the trees in the graphics, but white text on white background was difficult to read.

Improvements: Needed close-up of the singers and maybe a close-up of the candles they were holding. Needed more shot variety.
