3/16 7:51 pm - Loved the concept, it was unique and fresh
You had some great visuals with how you used your camera, every scenario seemed to be fresh in spite of following a pattern.
Where I got confused or unsure was the scene at the coffee house. The person preparing the coffee seemed to go into more than the other scenes, and then my main character showed up taking out 4 coffees, as a viewer I was wondering if this is where the story would take a turn because I kept waiting for something to happen (other than each picture coming alive), but then she scrolled through some more pictures of friends doing their thing and then suddenly it was over and I was wondering then what was the point, what were you trying to say, and is there a revelation that the main character has (or is there even a main character). Like I said I love the idea, your camera work and editing are spot on, the music fit, It had a lot of potential with each character having a small story to tell and emotion to be felt, I just kept waiting for a point to be made instead of just watching several of your friends living out their Instagram pictures.
I hope you don’t find my comments discouraging, I really liked the concept, just make the story or message you want to tell more obvious to the viewer. (which makes me wonder if what you exported was not your complete project)?
3/10 11:08 am - Positives: Interesting visual strategy to use social media to engage in each video clip, but not sure that this story is dramatic; Good use of interesting camera angles and time lapse.
Areas for improvement:
The story has no arc and merely stops without an ending. Some clips are low-resolution and pixelated. This tool might lend itself well to a comedic narrative, if you wrote a complete story.
3/9 7:37 pm - would be a cool concept to advertise clubs/sports...less dramatic narrative; ends abruptly
