4/22 3:43 pm - Your piece provides a comprehensive visual overview of your school's homecoming festivities. In doing so, you included many colorful/creative shots that depict students having fun! Nicely done! This piece functions very well as a recap but not as well as a promotion. If you were promoting an upcoming homecoming, using archival material from the previous year makes sense. However, you would need other content as well. For example, what is the theme of the homecoming you are promoting? What events will be a part of the upcoming homecoming? What are the dates? Also, you might want to include some nat sound. You are showing the viewer some exciting highlights, so why not also let the viewer hear some of the excitement that goes with these highlights
