Positives: Camera work and color grading generally looked really good especially in the beginning. Nice stabilizer and drone work. Good integration of the film challenge elements. They felt natural in the story and I felt that the narrative was actually built with those pieces in mind.
Improvements: Although the camerawork looked good, as times the shots were overblown or overexposed (2:36 and everything after in the park, 3:35 racing) The acting is a bit rough overall. Lines are delivered a bit over the top or simply feel forced rather than a natural progression. I think this is also a product of editing though. The editing needs to be tightened up throughout to prevent weird or awkward pauses that don't add any humor or progression to the story. For example :54-:58, 1:03-1:06, 1:43-1:52
Positives: Good opening and closing shots. Nice set-up, hint of main conflict. Good use of music.
Improvements: Missed opportunities to build conflict during race. 3:38 Shots were overexposed. Best wishes in all future endeavors. #makemovieshappen
Positives: Good job with the opening shot to set the location and does a good job of helping make the film come full circle at the end. Good job with the set up it helps to tell the story.
Improvements: The audio is tough to hear. At times you hear the wind through the mic and other times it appears as though there is not a mic on the actors, which becomes a distraction. There is a weird audio level up at 2:06. This story could have used some editing and then it could have been stronger. The longer it goes the more the story seems to get lost.
