Positives: You had some really great camerawork especially on your long shots. (2:02 mark) There was some fun and creative use of lighting and color as various points throughout. The film had a good sense of building suspense through camerawork and editing.
Improvements: The story needed more of an arc and conclusion. You spent the whole film setting up a conflict but then it never gets resolved in any meaningful way. You use the "and then the cops came" as a simple and easy wrap up. Also we don't even see what happened to the blonde girl in the end either, she just disappeared. Your integration of the film challenge pieces were not very well thought out and were just kind of thrown in there without being meaningful pieces of the film.
Positives: 1:45 Masterful gimbal shot! Brava! Well done! 4:13 Good scene
Improvements: 3:23 Post dialogue pull me out of the story. 6:03 Ending happens too abruptly and is a bit of a let-down. Best wishes in all future endeavors. #makemovieshappen
Positives: Great opening shots I think the tilt down works very well as a transition. I like the editing with the conversation between the two girls in the start of the film. The coloring on the film is strong and it helps to draw in the viewer.
Improvements: It is important to watch the audio in the film because there are times where it is not level or jumps (18 seconds). The story is strong until the 2-minute point of the film in which the story slows down a little bit. This could have been even stronger if it was edited down or sped up by moving the action along a little faster. There is not a reason to hang at the house. Have the girls who lives there come back sooner as the dress is being taken then it will go faster, really trap them. The guy at the door becomes an extra and takes away from the issue they are facing. Have the girl lam the door in his face and have him keep talking through the door. Pacing in the film is important but at times this just begins to drag a little bit. The concept is good, just let it move a little bit.
