Positives: The distortion element gave a unique perspective and held viewer interest GREAT camera work from the sidelines!
Improvements: The distortion element was effective in getting viewer attention but was uncertain of how the convenience was used to create a story... space invaders? rival mascot causing the disturbance? dream? Could have been flushed out more. The story could have been further developed
Positives: I like the use of the glitch effect, but as I mention below it might have been used too much and become a distraction. I do like the varation of the shots that you use during this video, as well as the opening shots of the captains and the fencing. Great job showing the action of the game.
Improvements: Overall I like the video, but I think that you use too long to get the action going, 12 seconds is a lot to use. While the glitch effect can be effective there are a couple of times that it is a little jarring like at 1:02 for the play at the goal line. I think the glitch there takes away from the action and the great play to make the stop. I was not a huge fan of the ending, but I do see how it helps to tell the story. Hd you set up the use of the annoucners prior to this then I coud see it working, but you just put them at the end.
Positives: Your video looks great for being shot at night. I love that you used some ambient environment shots, sidelines, crowd and play shots. great use of broll. I liked that you put an artistic spin on the sizzle. The edit is very cool and you did a great job on flow.
Improvements: I got a little confused at the restarting graphics at the beginning (they were cool but your video is so strong at :12 I would get into it right there and put a clear call to action for the viewer to attend games at the end (I do appreciate the idea you were going for though) I liked the use of your transition but it got a little heavy in the back half of the video and started to distract me. I would tighten this up to be a little shorter and use the effect sparingly! And if you use nat sound I'd use it throughout or once your introduce it leave it in for rest of piece!
