• 3/28 8:53 pm - Good natural audio at the beginning of your story. But there was no natural audio in the rest of the story. What makes this category different from the News Package category is the use of the natural audio to help TELL the story. Bring that natural audio from the b-roll up FULL - let that audio help tell the story and not rely SOLELY on the sound bytes. Otherwise, it’s just a news package and not a NATURAL AUDIO news package. Other than the first clip, there was no natural audio in this package.
• 3/18 7:50 am - I really liked the story you told through this package. You had a strong variety of interviews and b-roll. In particular, I loved the interview with the DJ and how he wrapped up the story at the end. I wish your interviews that you filmed were just a little closer. The girl on the patio for example looked so far away! Rabi was also hard to hear and could have used a mic. Interview audio was great for storytelling, but I wanted to hear the actual sounds of a bar mitzvah. Put me in the story by letting me hear the party sounds!
• 3/3 8:14 am - Nice story. Audio in the interviews was a concern- most audio was loud and clear, but the Rabi standing in a full shot was very distant in its sound. Try to be consistent there. B-roll was good and you had a variety of guests and interviews which told a good story. The Natural Audio was not impressive for this category. The only natural audio you had was at the very beginning in the short clip at the party. This category tries to key in on the natural sounds of the story which then in turn help TELL the story. Your natural audio does not do that. It's a good story though!
