A tourism spot for the mouthwatering and off-the wall attractions of Flavortown. Music: Cider House, Rachel Portman, arr. Zach Gordon, courtesy of YouTube Music Library
Positives: The sound was excellent. The mix worked for me. You shots seemed to happen in a number of locations and I appreciated the balanced lighting and coloring.
Improvements: The commercial took to long to identify what flavor town was and I did not entirely understand the narrative. Tone was an issue for me the balance of drama and comedy lacked sincerity. Your jokes were fun and creative and I'd have liked to see more of that.
Positives: I like the spoof nature of the spot There are some funny pieces of dialogue here -- fun flows like mustard... what does that even mean? I don't know, but I kind of want to go to the restaurant to find out.
Improvements: If you're going to spoof, own it and make it clear that's the idea Voice over is lethargic and drags edit down a bit
Positives: Wow. Really bizarre. Felt a bit like an SNL ad spoof. The mustard line made me laugh.
Improvements: Was not sure if this was serious or a joke until the mustard shot. And shooting food is sooooo hard. Getting food to look appetizing requires really good color correction, and some of this food does not look appetizing. The joke would be funnier if the food looked more delicious.
