- 4/7 5:30 pm - Good choice having the people stand in the locations/situations they are talking about. Good to include a purpose for the audience - that is the goal of a PSA! Good audio. The idea in general is not super groundbreaking though.
Judge 1
Positives: Good use of signs and narrative. Nice music selection. Dramatic storyline. Congrats.
Improvements: All camera shots needed to be tighter, too wide.
Judge 2
Positives: The voice over and narrative were both very well. The voices helped humanize the piece. The music fit the piece very well.
Improvements: The shots could have used a bit of a reflector or small LED light to brighten the kids up a bit. A transition effect between the kids could have helped break it up a bit more as it needs a bit of something more in the editing process to bring it up to the next level.
Judge 3
Positives: The audio in this piece was clear and the music supported the piece by providing the necessary tone. The variety of locations and people made the piece interesting.
Improvements: Although the message was there, it was not super captivating as a whole. The camera shots were stationary and could have been composed differently to make each shot unique. I wish everyone's statement was clearer to read either by text on-screen or with their own different pieces of paper/posterboard.
