Positives: You try a lot of creative editing techniques here that are very interesting. The elliptical editing style and quick pace keeps my interest as a viewer. You have some interesting, highly stylized shots here that are interesting and grab your attention.

Improvements: The story is pretty vague here, other than a director gets obsessed with his work and something bad happens. I think you may need to give a bit more information about the plot rather than all the front end voiceover about the director character. Although there is an interesting style to the shots, I think the color grading on them goes a bit far. The environment doesn't look natural and ends up looking a bit like a 90s music video.

Positives: "The Director's Downfall" effectively conveys suspense through hard, rhythmic cuts and black frames.

Improvements: The actual premise of the film is a bit unclear. Shooting and lighting technique can be polished a bit to help the piece feel more "produced".

Positives: The sound is by far in a way a stand out amongst the videos. The sound effects -- the teacher's voice being manipulated and changed was quite creative!

Improvements: While the editing, camera work and sound effects were absolutely a stand out in this case- I found myself losing track of the story at times.
