Judge 1

Positives: Lots of fast pace energy and there was a reflection of many aspects of the school. The music and the editing was completely in sync. Your "Viking" was a great touch to bridge the video with the music.

Improvements: Since it is a broadcast opening, maybe have a chyron somewhere within the video of the station. The video of the broadcast team at the desk was not clear. Since this is an opening of the broadcast that may be something to consider.

Judge 2

Positives: Great variety of activities/sports highlighted Action sequences held audience attention

Improvements: lighting was a bit dark in a couple of the sequences Could have used the "lip syncing" in more than just the viking moment

Judge 3

Positives: Excellent pacing and a great selection of shots. This promo makes me want to watch your show. Every shot had action, focus and energy. The time comptression shots worked great. That technique was used at just the right time. The hand-held shots were very effective. Many times hand held camera work is too shakey and becomes distracting. You did a very nice job by including the hand held footage while not making your audience seasick while watching it.

Improvements: It's important to include the name of your high school so it is easily found. At 0:11 it's on the wall of the gym, but I missed that the first time through. Fade out the video at the end of the piece. The audio fades out, the video should as well.
