Positives: The video of the facilities was strong and the editing was on point to give the viewer a glance of what is available. The background music flowed and the volume matched. The information of registration was an excellent source for the parents and incoming students.
Improvements: Having the athletic director being the only source of communication was ok, but it would be better if there were students included in the video or speak on their experiences. The video of the facilities were nicely shot however, it had an empty feel. Again, including student-athletes would enhance what you want the incoming students and parents to see about the school.
Positives: various athletic facilities seen well rehearsed speech
Improvements: narrative voice sounded over written and boring. no action photos of students in action - "get involved" and no students seen in the video...?
Positives: The interview footage was well framed. The actual interview was very effective. Matt Fehrman's performance felt very natural. The lower third was very clean as were most of the other graphics. The pacing was excellent. It didn't drag and you presented new information throughout your project. This was a very well-planned work which help to make it an effective piece.
Improvements: Here are a couple of things that would help to make you project even better. Balance the colors. It looks like the interview footage was shot without a white balance. When that happens it's still possible to color correct the footage to make it blend better with the rest of the videos and still images. Avoid jump cuts. Play from 1:30 - 1:40. (The jump occurs at about 1:35.) Either cover jump cuts with a graphic or other still or video or dissolve between cuts. Fade in at the very beginning and fade out at the end. Try to acquire some footage/images with activity. I know we are challenged with COVID right now. But there may be some archival images you can use.
