- 4/29 4:45 pm - It was enjoyable, but not entirely clear. Some establishing dialogue would have gone a long way. The camerawork and movement was really cool, but the footage was very grainy. I'm not sure if this was a technical limitation or if you simply had your camera on auto. This short certainly has a distinctive style, and the acting was very good. Keep up the good work. The technical editing overall was very solid. However, the editing in terms of story and pace was unclear and confusing. There was a consistent tone over the course of the film with a distinctive style. Overall, the film was cool and I like where you are going. A little more clarity in the story and less grainy footage would have gone a long way.
- 3/10 8:24 am - Very creative opening sequence, it definitely grabbed my interest, so many visuals and sounds that all fit together so well. Opening phone shot is a little long, I kept wanting you to get to the point Think of your viewers when you are telling a story. What did the post it note say, was it important? if so I wish you would have emphasized it more. Sound, I didn’t seem like there was a variety sound effects, I felt like I just kept hearing the same one/song over and over. Really hard to know what is going on it seems to jump all around, so I didn’t get how it was all connected. You have a lot of creative sequences, but I didn’t quite see the story and the connection of all the parts. I am sure it is very clear in your head, but your audience has to be able to follow it in order to appreciate it and enjoy it, and I found myself working so hard to enjoy and get lost in the story. You have a lot of video skills, work on the story aspect and your stuff will be amazing,
