In our video we recorded downtown and got cool shots of all the buildings and some major attraction sites. We recorded the bean, the buildings, the water spout , the lakefront and some shops. *Music from YouTube Audio Library.

• 4/29 9:36 am - How can you use your lens to convey a message or tell a story in an original and unique way? Get out of the car and change your perspective. This reel had shots all from the same perspective and were all day exterior. Shooting from a moving car handheld is a challenge to achieve shots that don't shake and distract the viewer. It also makes for dirty compositions because of the lack of control for what encroaches on you image. The scenery is nice at times but get out of the car and show the viewer these everyday sights in a new and evoking way.
• 4/6 1:01 pm - Shooting outside of a car is a challenging endeavor, especially with a smartphone that auto exposes and focuses your video. Submitting it into this category to be assessed based on the rubric that focuses on the use of light and movement doesn't work well.
