- 4/26 11:06 am - Keepers: Well done story told from all viewpoints of a play production. Good work getting multiple voices from cast, crew and film crew. It gave everyone a sense of the nuances of a production against the backdrop of COVID-19. Broll and interview setups were well done. Nice job mixing natural sound and music along with the voices from the interviews. Improvements: I think you needed to let some of the broll breathe a bit and give audience members a break from the constant voices from talking heads. In a few instances, bringing up the audio from a rehearsal scene and letting us see/hear that would have really added another dimension to the piece. Also, the music is wall-to-wall and never lets up. It gets redundant. One song was used when it should have been 2 or 3. Also, find moments for the song to end, then wait a 5-10 seconds to hear no music, before starting a new song. Wall-to-wall music can be too much. Let it breathe in places. Good work, ovearll!
- 4/15 1:35 pm - Story was compelling and well told through a variety of essential voices both involved behind the scenes as well as on stage. You captured the essence of the uniqueness of this event and all that went into making this happen. Very well shot and put together!
- 3/10 3:17 pm - A really nice piece about the school's production of Clue. I love the use of b-roll throughout and I think it's very entertaining for the viewer. Did a fantastic job with the amount of people you interviewed in this piece and it really told many stories. Be careful with the transitions as though sometimes they can be distracting. Sometimes simplest is best.
