Entry Description

In this short comedic narrative, Joey is seen still coping with his grandmothers passing after an unfortunate incident at an old folks home rave. Joey keeps his grandmothers urn near and dear to him, so when he finds it is stolen, he doesn’t take it terribly well. A series of unfortunate events proceed to unravel as Joey does what he can to get his granny’s ashes back into his possession.

• 4/29 1:35 pm - Some great work playing both characters and moving the camera around. Love some of the quick lines but audio was a little hard to hear. Need to find ways to use Close Up’s in order to push the reaction a bit more. You're off to a great start here in this field, keep at it!
• 4/27 11:17 am - Successful - Interesting shots and editing. Great ending. Some funny ideas. Needs Work - At times this suffers from having too much style. There's also confusing shifts in tone & genre that don't really add to the humor. Lots of recycled jokes and tropes.
• 2/22 1:21 pm - Great use of natural sound and a variety of shots in the intro. Nice idea editing the text to the sound of the clock. Great angle from the clocks perspective looking up. This is very creative and uniquely created video. Good use of music and pacing. Gets a little weird when the grandmas ashes get involved. Might have been better if you focused just on the clock and made the comedic narrative shorter and more focused. However, great way to tie everything together at the end. Overall very well done and one of the best entries
