Grace shows how to hold and play with a pet hamster using the correct techniques.
Positives: Camera shots are well done. Interesting subject.
Improvements: Narration seems to get soft in tone at the end of some sentences. Hard to hear it.
Positives: Very nice shots with the hamster in your hands. The sound of the water is well placed and adds a nice touch to the video. The hamster shots running at the: 34-second mark are well done and give the viewer a closeup of the animal. You do a great job of letting the viewer know what to do if they are new to owning a hamster.
Improvements: At the start, I like the angle you use for the shot, but I wish you were looking at the camera to make a direct connection with your audience. Watch the music level. At times it is a little too loud for your voice, and it overpowers the message. Try not to let the music become a distraction. When you use graphics, make sure that you give the viewer time to read what is on the screen. There are a couple of soft shots in the video. Make sure that you keep things in focus when trying to describe a process.
Positives: I like the establishing shot at the beginning introducing the narrator--this is conventional and important. I am glad you showed the narrator at the end, too, because it is such a better way to end. The steps were related clearly and concisely, and the demonstration was very well thought out.
Improvements: The narrator's audio was a little hot
