  • 4/29 1:31 pm - Great use of sound and wonderful punchline, the set-up was there the whole time and it paid off. The dad was fantastic and the son’s reactions were perfect for the pace and style. I would suggest using a constant audio source as the son’s audio was muffled, and also working in close-up’s for reaction shots, especially with the son, who was exasperated but could have had bigger reactions. Overall, great work!
  • 4/27 10:20 am - Successful - Nice shots and editing. Lots of great shot variety. Well-paced with a good ending. Needs Work - The overall premise was not that interesting, and the acting didn't quite carry the story.
  • 2/22 11:50 am - Funny, nice job. I really like the opening with the sound and twisting of the caps. There are some technical issues with audio. The Dads voice comes through loud and clear most of the time but the sons voice is kind of distance and muffled. This might be because you are not filming with school equipment due to the pandemic. Overall, really well done.

Positives: Some genuinely funny moments in this video Nicely paced edit

Improvements: This video lacked interest -- there was nothing especially compelling that would make me want to watch a video about a son and dad having a different POV on how to make an Arnold Palmer. Think about your viewer and what THEY will get out of watching the video. Music choice a bit expected

Positives: The simplicity of this really delightful and the editing has fantastic comedic timing. Great use of those quick cuts of the objects and actions, sort of like Edgar Wright. Keeps it visually engaging. I love how it circles right back to where they started after all that effort.

Improvements: I was thinking it might be worth adding some light background music throughout, or at least in key places to even out some of that background distortion, but that's a bit of a nitpick. I do also appreciate the potency of the music at the end. While I really loved this, I wish there was just a little more. Great chemistry between the two actors and the banter we got was really entertaining. Overall, great work! This was a ton of fun.

Positives: Very droll humor--yet very humorous. This was edited very well and was very believable.

Improvements: The actor who played the father had trouble saying Arnold Palmer at the beginning, but he did a great job otherwise
