4/29 4:20 pm - Pros - Clearly defined theme in your reel helps depict your style and fascination with framing the human face. Strong compositions and camera interaction with your subjects throughout. Good demonstration of different lighting environments, natural and artificial, both controlled and uncontrolled. Cons - The reel lack shots diversity; mostly CUs of faces. The different lenses, cameras, and formats changed the way the quality of the image was perceived by the viewer when seen in successive juxtaposition. The image layering and added effects take away from the purpose of the reel, distracting from the photographic elements on display.
4/6 1:03 pm - Moody for sure, but a great reel to show how you used light through your lens, shaped shots through your composition, and stability- not so much. The overuse of effects and filters masked your ability to showcase what you truly did with the lens. Based on the music, pacing, and editing you're replicating a very specific vibe, but it falls short in a technical category that focuses on creative innovation.
