  • 4/27 10:55 am - It is always refreshing to have a demonstration of something that most viewers have no prior knowledge of! This is a great video from start to finish. There is a good mix of video angles and techniques throughout! The overall audio seems a little soft and slightly out of sync at parts, but it is consistent and clean. The editing is well done. Great job!
  • 4/26 9:06 am - I like that you explain what it is and why you might use it. Good variety of shots. Nice graphics and animation. I like the emphasis on practice. A few more shots making exactly clear some fo the details would be helpful. Maybe a comparison of a good and bad example would help clarify.
  • 4/24 5:23 pm - Works Well - Well planned and nicely composed shots, and repeating the pens dropping motif was fun. Very clear explanations and visuals, especially the “away from the body” and “towards the body” shots with arrows. Good script and voice-over. Needs Work - The shot with the host holding the phone to her mouth looks awkward (the thumbnail preview made me think she was holding a drink). The audio is out of sync in that shot as well.

Positives: Good idea and very interesting concept. Good narration and demo.

Improvements: Moved very quickly, hard to really understand the full concept. Needed more explanation of term "brush lettering" with more demo of that concept.

Positives: Great camera movement, and editing for the first 24 seconds of the video. I like the details that you offer in this video that make it easy for the viewer to replicate. The editing is very smooth and makes it fun to watch this video, and the graphics are not a distraction and help tell your story. The lighting is well done and does not distract from the video, and the music matches the edits and the portions of the video in which they are used. Great job on this video

Improvements: I wish you would have used something else besides the phone for a mic. I know that this is something that is easy to use, and readily accessible, but it can also be a distraction to the viewer. There is not a reason to come back on the screen at :21 seconds. It is so brief it does not add much to the video. Keep the flow you had going at the start.
