  • 4/27 9:10 am - Great Studio Shots, and a solid Closing sequence! It could have used more variety in the game footage (all long shots), which is sometimes tough to get during a game. Close-ups can be shot during pre-game warm-up. The CU studio shots worked well--cool neon effect with the lower third type.

  • 3/7 1:46 pm - Excellent job showcasing your players by not only letting us know their names but showing us them in play! I loved this! The players really looked great and the music was a good choice as well. I like how the text came in so we knew who each player was and I like how it ended with the team pic and the one player pushing the basketball toward the screen. Excellent job!
Judge 1

Positives: enjoyed meeting the player and then seeing them in action editing was crisp and some wonderful shots of basketball action

Improvements: more dramatic build going into the final moments about the upcoming season

Judge 2

Positives: Good choice of graphics and effective compositing of graphics over the shots of the players being introduced.

Improvements: Consider cutting down the length of time devoted to introducing each player. Then include some competitive action shots. Include footage that shows teamwork. If possible get more camera angles.

Judge 3

Positives: Great job seperating the girls by the actions they have in the game. This makes it clear who we are watching and is a very solid storytelling technique. Good job with the lighting and not making it too distracting.

Improvements: Watch the edit where the first girl looks at both cameras. Just have her look at one of them Fade out the music at the end instead of just stopping it. One portion of Olivia is only the lower half. I am not sure if this is to show her dribbling ability or not, but it is confusing.
