WMTH: A Look Through the Viewfinder delves into the behind the scenes of WMTH, Maine South's broadcasting club, as it covers the events and experiences that occur throughout a typical school year at school. Music courtesy of: Time to Spare - An Jone (Youtube Audio Library)
Positives: great variety of voices discussing options in the club really get a sense of the passion that students bring to this club
Improvements: consistency/inconsistency with masks on interviews just sort of ends with "...make some film stuff" - could have had a stronger ending - perhaps all the various interviews with one quick sound clip to wrap it up
Positives: Very impressive camera work. A lot of care went into framing and color. There is an overall consistency throughout your project. The project kept moving. Every segment has new information so it will hold the interest of your audience. The audio mix was well crafted. The voice track was clear and easy to understand. The voices cut through one the background music and still allowed the music to be heard.
Improvements: Try to find a little more b-roll during the first minute. Get away for the people speaking more and show what they are talking about. You did cut away to the mixer and Spotify. Think about a couple of other shots that would help tell your story. The last minute and a half have a good b-roll balance.
Positives: Good shots for this video. I like the variety that you offer, which helps keep the video moving. Good job showing everything that you do with the station and how people can get involved.
Improvements: Try to shorten the audio from the people involved. They are good, but some of them could be edited down a little bit. The audio changes from the first interview to the second one, try to smooth that out. It seems like the audio might not be circled for all of the clips.
