Positives: -There wasn't a lot of action, yet you made it interesting with the sequences and angles. -when the performer moved, the camera angles were very fluid and not jarring.

Improvements: -the audience is laughing so that can always help bring the viewer to this performance. -- action/reaction shots are effective. Give us a shot of the audience laughing since it's a comedic performance.

Positives: Everything was in focus and camera shots were stable. The camera following when he was walking around on stage was great keeping him in frame and centered without losing him or shaky movements. The variety of camera angles on a single performer could sometimes be difficult but once he was playing piano, we saw a close up of piano keys, a profile wide shot and a medium close-up single-shot of him!

Improvements: Directing was great! Only nit-picky comment which may not have been possible would be to have a camera on the audience to get laughing reaction shots. At the beginning, the performer was a little dark and since lighting may not have been a something you had control over, possibly opening up the iris a bit or adding a little digital video gain could have helped, but again nit-picky.

Positives: - Making a solo performer who isn't moving around a whole lot seem visually interesting is a tough task, and I thought it was done really well here. Good job by the director of cutting where appropriate and often enough that it flowed very nicely. - Likewise, good work by the camera operators to get solid, focused, and well framed shots!

Improvements: - Audio from the microphone seemed just a touch hot.
