This will definitely be something you can keep and hold onto. IMPROVEMENTS: The documentary needed additional elements to pull it together. The round table shot is great but it would have been better to have intercut between that and some interviews of each person at that table. This would give the viewer a better sense of who each of these people are and what the community of Batavia means to them. The piece also lacked broll. They mention many specific locations in the area: funway, specific creeks for fishing, etc. Why not film those locations or use old photos of them if they're closed. Documentaries are visual mediums and we need to see what is being described. This almost feels like a podcast in its present state. Overall, there is some good stuff here, but it needs additional polish and visual support. Keep working!
