  • 4/27 11:11 am - Looks good! The background music is very low, I almost thought there was none at all! The voiceover is clear and concise and helps to carry the demonstration. I like the text at the beginning, I just wish there was a bit more throughout to help illustrate the steps. Great Demonstration from start to finish!
  • 4/26 9:09 am - Good variety of shots showing different steps. Music was appropriate and helped create interest. I like that you not only gave directions but also give tips. The speaker is clear. I like the animation at the beginning (domed), and the music cue at the end–nice touches. Colors are a bit dull. Speaker could use a bit more variety in voice.
  • 4/24 5:25 pm - Works Well - Nicely composed and detailed visuals. Great explanation of the peaks and “lava test.” Clever display of ingredients in the beginning. Needs Work - The text on the ingredients shots was very small and hard to read. The level of the background music was very low, almost inaudible, but it seemed to distract from the fairly flat reading of the voice-over.

Positives: Good graphics. Good story and idea.

Improvements: Narrator spoke too quickly and hard to understand in some places. Camera shot could have been tighter.

Positives: Great job with the graphics at 12 seconds to display the names of the macaron. I am not sure if many people know those are names for a part of a macron. Good job showing the peaks and making sure that the viewer knows what you are talking about when you reference them Great job on this project.

Improvements: Try to incorporate more angles of shots for this video. When showing the sifter go in closer on it and get a good close-up of it. Try to avoid a zoom in or out shot. They are not needed in a situation like this. Set the shot and then just edit it to that shot. It will look smoother.
