  • 4/28 10:29 pm - Intro is cool but rough cut into the show...no transition. Because you're using mic on camera, there is lots of "white" noise being picked up. Professionalism of show would jump up quick with a couple of mics used. You could even put a phone in someone's pocket, record the audio and sync it up in post. Need more b-roll. B-roll brings these stories to life. Tighten wrestler interview shot up. Too much headroom. Transition to girls' basketball interview tough to hear with ball bouncing and anchors moving in and out of shot. This is more of a sportscast than a newscast. You have a good start, just need to execute a few technical skills to tighten show up.
  • 4/20 1:12 pm - Hawk talk opening is a nice touch- fade the music out so it's not an abrupt ending. Audio is rough- very hard to listen to. Anchors are far away and you can hear lots of ambient background noise. Even in the first interview- the noise disappears, but for half of it, it's poor. Need to look into getting mics, or at least recording your audio on a separate device that's closer to the anchors and then sync it up. Small amount of b-roll in the basketball story is good, but we don't see enough of it. We just see a person sitting in a chair for all these interviews- gotta get more b-roll. Hard to watch someone sitting in a chair and not even being able to see their mouth move. The show has some good ideas, but technically it needs work. Show ends abruptly with no real closing and the flow of the show needs transition work to make things roll together. Keep working!
  • 4/7 10:05 am - Get and use a few mics so that we can hear the people better without all of the background noise and reverberation. With everyone wearing masks, I was confused at first if it was the wrestler talking or someone else. Since you are doing an interview where we hear the questions being asked, have the interviewer on camera. This would be better than just the person sitting there while being asked the question and it will help fill the screen. It was very bare.
