Good use of super slow motion. Story does a great job of showing performance aspects of the band as well as the relationships between members. Steady camera work, and great pacing throughout.

I like that you named it "POWER of the Marching Band" and then showed how the Marching Band basically is responsible for getting the dancers to dance by showing the line of dancers, then showing the players on the team, the drum lines and even the band marching through school and out on the field. You also saw the fun that the band has together throughout. Wonderful! You did an exemplary job of portraying how awesome your band is!
Judge 1

Positives: great intro music - gets you excited great editing with slow motion and top of plumes from hats shots made for exciting

Improvements: would like to have heard the band playing - music overplay tried to match the players with instruments but looked weird when the music didn't match

Positives: Dynamic and impressive editing. Cutting to the music was spot on. The camera work was impeccable. Each shot was composed and lit extremely well.

Improvements: Consider cutting the overall length down to about 90 seconds. Although this is an impressive piece it seemed just a little long. Is there music performed by the marching band that could be used as the audio track?

Positives: Good job matching the beat for the black frames. I like the variety of shots and the framing. Your edits move pretty fast which helps to make the video stronger. Keep working on editing some parts out.

Improvements: It ould strengthen your video if some of the music was from the band. If you have a good drumline then they should be a driving force for the video. You show a little too much that does not have to do with the band, like the football. They are two different parts of the night, separate them. The football coach is not part of the band. This makes the message confusing.
