  • 4/22 7:34 am - Terrific continuous interview with a G league player who once played in the NBA. Preperation was terrific and the conversation was enhanced by some appropriate B-Roll insterted throughout. Shooting this on the court was a great decision as well. Questions were well prepped and host was engaged throughout, very well done!

Positives: 1. I really liked the framing and background choice for the interview. 2. The host introduced the interview well. I liked that you were interviewing someone right after the game, on the court.

Improvements: 1. I'm not sure if it was possible to get b roll from the actual game , but it would have been nice to see video b roll from a different shot. It looked like I was seeing the same clip over and over again. 2. Adding some movement to the still images would make them more dynamic.

Positives: 1. Great B-roll is provided during the interview. It helps support the interviewee’s storytelling and attracts the viewer to continue watching. 2. The host does a great job asking questions and avoids having the talent repeat himself this helps moves the interview along and keeps the viewers engaged.

Improvements: 1. The lighting has harsh shadows on both the host and talent’s face. An overhead light would help eliminate those harsh shadows and spotlight the talent. 2. A quick 10 second visual introduction would be an effective element to this segment that can visually engage the viewers.
