- 4/27 11:31 am - What I Loved: Great job timing shots to the music; this was definitely visually engaging and made a paper clip look cool and sleek. I also love how you directed me to WHERE I should be purchasing this product. I never think about where I buy my paper clips from so I appreciated the Amazon tip. You made a pretty boring product look and feel exciting. Areas of Growth: This was an incredibly strong commercial and it's hard for me to come up with things to improve. My only suggestion would be to make the brand of this paper clip- Alago- a little bigger at the end of your commercial. The brand of paper clips that I buy is not something that I usually think about or consider. I think this is a product where people either get them from work or school or don't think about the brand they are buying. If you truly want people to buy THIS brand, you need to make that name memorable. I would make Alago the size of the word "paperclip" and make the word "paperclip" smaller at 0:32. In this case, I think I need more focus on the brand name rather than the product name. This is minor, and overall you have done outstanding work.

Positives: Good effects work, very nice supers/type design, a few very interesting "shots" in effects. Nice, stylized product spot.
Improvements: While the ad looks and sounds nice, paper clips are quite dull, and not particularly needed these days. This could be a good opportunity to use juxtaposition. Maybe you could consider a story about a lonely paperclip that feels useless, discovering other new and exciting ways it can be used? Positives: What can I say, you made a paperclip look like a brand new car! I appreciate the structure of your add, and the glossy, shinny close up's of the paperclip. Great job!
Improvements: The editing around the paperclip/notebook paper is a little jarring, maybe a smoother transition would have been more innkeeping with the rest. A voice over could have really been an interesting addition Truly, I have few complaints.
