2/25 2:41 pm - STORY: The concept seemed cool and you established the plot, conflict, and the characters. Still not sure exactly WHY the brother was missing or why he was held hostage. Also, couldn’t you have shown a picture of the brother?
CAMERA: Numerous shots that were out of focus or grainy/noisy. This might have been due to insufficient lighting.
EDITING: The editing pace was fine, and you actually created some cool character introduction freeze frames. But it kind of felt like a trailer for a video game and not a trailer for a movie.
LIGHTING: Not enough lighting to effectively create an image. It looks like you just used whatever lighting was available at each location.
AUDIO: Your audio mix was off throughout the piece. For your reference, the primary dialogue or voice over should be between -6 and -12 db on the VU meter, and your music bed should be between -18 and -24. In your case, the music is too loud in the mix. The opening voice over sounded too happy and positive for this film; it didn’t match the tone of the music or the mood of the trailer.
