- 4/27 9:45 pm - Nice, quick intro into your show. Anchors have a nice delivery. Make sure you attribute all material you didn't record or create. Interesting stories which are pertinent to you audience. Show could use more broll throughout. This will improve your storytelling so much. Audio is fairly consistent throughout. Keep working!
- 4/20 12:10 pm - Nice, subtle opening to the show. Anchors do a nice job, but doing a multi-language show is difficult because every other story isn't understood by half the audience. If you don't speak one of the language, you're out of luck. Maybe have subtitles so we know what is being said? Why are only some of the stories in Spanish? This is confusing. Are all of your videos and photos yours? If not, which I assume they are not, they need some attribution to where you got those materials. Weather reports- the main thing people want to know is precipitation and what the high temp will be for each day- not sure we hear that in all the forecasts. Black background looks good, but you've given so much rule of thirds that you need to add graphics in the dead spot. We need to see, as well as hear, especially if we can't understand the language being spoken. Lots of info given in this show! Credits and a closer would be nice. Add some more technical aspects and you're show will keep getting better!
- 4/7 10:04 am - Some stories - The camera is off to the side so it would be nice to have an over the shoulder graphic instead of just dead space. Nice hockey update. Good to see some b-roll in there. Other sports stories has no attribution for the photos, which is required in the rules. “ALL ENTRIES MUST BE THE ORIGINAL WORK OF THE STUDENT PRODUCER including scripting, directing, VIDEOTAPING, editing, and graphics. The only exceptions would be…News Program…These categories allow copyrighted images or video for historical purposes, and may include content not produced by the student, AS LONG AS IT IS ATTRIBUTED TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER.“ What kind of temperatures are we going to see? I think you only gave a temp for one day. In the future, please make these so that we can make them full screen. I am having a hard time reading some of the graphics. Why are only some stories in Spanish and English? Lots of good school info in here. It would be nice to have some additional graphics, still images, or b-roll so we don’t just see talking heads almost the entire time.
