  • 4/28 4:04 pm - Overhead shots were well done (1:08). Interesting location scouting. Would have preferred a bit more consistency with rule of thirds while following her walking, but smooth camera work for the most part.
  • 4/18 11:59 am - Interesting interpretation of the song. Great that you used an interesting location and the character was following a path. The story just didn't seem to begin or end concretely. Great job!
  • 2/22 10:03 am - Great location, camera work and use of lighting. The story telling needs some development. Great job by actress on camera acting like she is submerged in the story.

Positives: Terrific use of locations. Beautifully shot and edited!

Improvements: Lips could be more tightly synced. The performer could be more convincing in terms of performing the lyrics.

Positives: I love everything visual about this video. What a location. Beautiful focus and use of available lighting in black and white. Good attention to lighting contrast. And I love the effect that might have been some kind of handheld camera stabilization. Matched the ethereal quality of the song.

Improvements: I'm not really sure what's going on. Is it some kind of scavenger hunt? The story could really have been approved. Searching for a lot love? A ghost? Maybe exaggerate that weird blurring quality in the handheld, to make it seem more purposeful, more like an effect.

Positives: I really enjoyed the weirdness of it all. the visuals told a story but not a clear one and it kept me wondering what she'd find next. Setting was fantastic as was the cinematography.

Improvements: pacing could have been tighter. Some visuals went on too long. And the video was weird but maybe not weird enough?
