  • 4/28 3:24 pm - LOVED this idea. The cut shots at the start were a good choice...pacing was spot on. The shot at 0:52ish was super unique. The lighting at 1:10-1:15 was fabulous. Great idea to use editing to censor as well. The camera tilt was great at 1:56 and on. Really impressed. Also love this song ;)
  • 4/7 12:45 pm - Really fun, creative, and interesting interpretation of the song. The edit was really strong. The compositions were great. I really liked how the images reflected the anger as it increased and the pace increased. Overall excellent job!
  • 2/22 9:03 am - Interesting song choice. Very creative and interesting video. Nice pacing and variety of shots. Nice combination of old tech (projector) and new tech (editing glitches). Overall impressive and original.

Positives: The cheekiness is very effective. The variety of locations keeps the narrative visual interesting.

Improvements: The piece needs an overall color correction so the look is consistent. Some scenes are a bit too dark. 1:44, albeit is a projection, still needs to be less murky.

Positives: I love the different textures of visuals and the throwbacks to old experimental films. There is a fantastic range of shots used, and there is a really nice progression in the narrative. Also terrific performance by your lead. And I love the silhouette shots of the last scene. And nice dutch angles.

Improvements: I'm such a fan of this music video, I only have a couple of quibble. 1. Be more rhythmic when you use jump cuts. IMO, it's really one of the only places I think it's ok to cut to the beat. And 2. I thought the handheld shot was out of place in a music video of really formal compositions. Maybe use more if you want to embrace handheld. But maybe better off without it.

Positives: Interesting song and visuals. I liked the prop head and the effects were used effectively.

Improvements: Too long without something to keep it fresh and interesting. Would have been more effective if it didn't have time to fizzle. There was a handful of clever shots but the main theme was overused and became less captivating
